Katie’s surgery went very well

Dear all, First, please don’t call Katie or send cards, it upsets her. Send an email if you wish. Thanks to each of you for your prayers, Katie’s surgery went very well. Dr Jones is very confident that he got “everything”. He said from what he could tell, the lymph nodes were also clear. We will do a follow up in about two weeks. We got home several hours ago, and Katie is doing very well. Of course, there is pain from where they spread the ribs apart to get to the lungs, but all else is super. Please keep up your prayers.
