Update on Sue Clemente

Friends, I'm with Sue now and she looks great. There really is no update other than they've eliminated a bunch of stuff after 4 days of tests. There are more results to gather and a couple more test to do. Bottom line is she is baffling some of the best rhumatologists, infectious disease, hematologists, pulmonary, dermatology and internal medicine docs here in Bethesda Hospital. They have uncovered a few interesting things, but nothing yet that explains her high fever and low oxygenation levels. We thought it was the pulmonary embolism she had in Jan, but that cleared up, and similar symptoms returned, and then some. So it's probably a lupus flare up of some sort, but ... still looking for the culprit. But the doc "team" feel like they're getting "close." I hope so.
