Prayers for Fr Jack Fullen
Dear friends in Christ, I received a phone call from Father Jack's daughter stating that he had respiratory distress early this morning and was placed on a ventilator to help his breathing. At present, he is in the ICU and is stable. It is thought that the respiratory distress is a result pneumonia and congestive heart failure. I am deeply, deeply saddened by today's news and am asking for your prayers. In the mercy of Christ, -- Kellie M. Ross

Update on Katie John
Dear all, Good news - I would like to give you an update on things and to thank each and all of you for your prayers. On Tuesday we were to UVA Hosp for Katie’s follow-up and the Dr. said the surgery was perfect. The x-rays are absolutely clear and as are her lymph nodes. No Chemo, no radiation and only a follow up in six months. Thanks be to God.
Bad news – On Thursday at about midnight, we went to ER because Katie was vomiting and had pains in the abdomen. DR e-rayed ,etc, and said it looked like a blocked intestine and there was about a 70% chance that surgery would be needed. Ouch. The admitted her into the hospital, and I prayed with all of my heart. They put her on a liquid diet with meds, etc, and, praise the Lord, it cleared up and the pain went away.
Good news – Katie came home late Friday afternoon and on Saturday, we travelled to Gina’s in Burke Center to celebrate Gina’s birthday and Gina and John’s wedding anniversary. Again, thanks be to God and to each of you for your prayers. Peace, -- Jerry John

Update on Sue Clemente
Friends, Please keep Sue in your prayers. Still a lot of questions to answer about how to best handle a "hematoma" she developed which was the cause of her leg pain. de colores, -- Mark Clemente

Update on Susan Clemente
Friends, Susan is not out of the woods yet and I had to take her back in the hospital yesterday for pretty severe leg pain. I appears that all the prednisone she has taken over the years may have weakened her bones. It may be more (or less) than that, hopefully we'll know more as tests come back. Do continue to keep her in your prayers. de Colores, -- Mark Clemente

Update on Sue Clemente
Friends, It's a Good Friday indeed. Thank you for your prayers, we've felt them envelop Susan and we believe she's finally out of the woods and I expect her home from the hospital this weekend. We've finally gotten a diagnosis, hemophagocytosis which in laymen's terms, are white blood cells eating up ones red blood cells, THINKING they're some germ that needs to be eliminated. She's responding well to treatment and her spirits are great. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Have a Blessed Easter!! de Colores, -- Mark Clemente
