On Monday, 2/28, my neurologist confirmed that the EEG gave evidence that I have a seizure disorder, so I have to be chauffered until July 21.
Since then, on Wednesday March 2, I fell at the Ballston Metro station, about 25 feet from the top of escalator as I was walking to the curb to be picked up by Peg. I tripped on buckled pavement that I did not see in front of me. A woman who saw me said the same thing happened to her recently. A visit to my orthopedist Thursday (3/3) led to diagnosis of a slight break in my knee cap, for which I am being treated with needing to wear a leg brace 24/7 at least until I see him next week. The treatment is to prevent further injury that would necessitate surgery.
All of a sudden, the driving restriction pales in comparison to my knee problem. - Ken Telesca
