Prayer Thanks from Jerry John

Dear all, First, I want to thank each and all of you for your prayers and your kind thoughts.  The procedure went very well today.  The good news is that they found no blockages in any of the arteries.  But they still don’t know what causes the chest pain.  We will explore that more next week.  Still don’t know why the “changes” changes in the heart rate.  It seems to go up and down.  Other than that all seems to be on track. I will thank the Lord for your support and prayers. Peace -- Jerry John

Prayers for Jerry John Catheterization

I found that having mild chest pains and then sudden pain in your shoulder after a nitro- pill in front of your cardiologist scares the devil out of them.  He immediately stopped discussion of a stress test and scheduled a catheterization of the heart network for Friday morning and will insert stint[s] as needed.  Should be home Friday evening if all goes well, and if not, then by Saturday morning.  Please pray that the healing hand of the Lord will guide the doctor in his every move. Love you all. Peace -- Jerry John

Al Hlavin & Fr Mike Hann's brother pass; Missionhurst storm damage

Al Hlavin, long-time Cursillista, died in his sleep Sunday morning after battling a illness for a long time.  He is survived by Martha and eight children and numerous grandchildren.  There will be a wake on Thursday, July 7 from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 at St Mark's 9970 Vale Rd in Vienna.  The funeral Mass will be at St Mark's at 11 am Friday, July 8.

Fr Mike Hann's older brother died.

Missionhurst was badly hit by the "macroburst" on Sunday evening.  Big trees down every where, one car impaled by a limb, etc.  Fortunately no one was hurt and the power statyed on in the retired priests home although it was out in the rest of the campus.
